1. Student Eligibility & Academic Performance
Every child is equal to us, and we welcome applications from all students. We will do our best to provide a teacher that matches their specific needs and learning requirements.
Educational kits provided are strictly for tuition purposes only and cannot be used for any other activities.
2. Fee Structure & Payment Policies
To avail of the services of a highly qualified teacher, parents must pay a premium fee as per the teacher’s expertise and experience.
Payment must be made in advance within the first 10 days of each month.
Late payment fees of ₹10/day will be charged for any delay beyond the due date.
If a parent is facing financial difficulties, they must submit valid income proof along with their office address. GMT will review and reconsider the fee structure based on the verification process.
Fee discussions with teachers are strictly prohibited. Any concerns must be addressed directly to GMT management.
3. Teacher Selection & Service Cancellation
Once a teacher is chosen, a student cannot change the teacher in the middle of the session without a valid reason.
If you request a trained and experienced teacher, the fees will be higher.
If parents wish to discontinue the services, they must inform GMT at least one month in advance with a valid reason.
Homework, assignments, and project assistance will be charged separately and must be paid in advance at least two days before the required date.
4. Class Schedules & Holidays
All national holidays will be considered paid holidays for teachers. If a student’s class falls on a holiday, parents will be charged for that session.
In case of exceptional circumstances or emergencies, classes can be rescheduled for another day, with a maximum of 10 reschedules per year for both parents and teachers.
In situations such as natural calamities, pandemics, or any other emergency, offline classes will be temporarily suspended for safety reasons.
5. Safety & Code of Conduct
Teachers and parents must maintain professional decorum. Any use of abusive language, violence, or misconduct will result in immediate termination of services.
For online tutoring:
Teachers must provide a one-hour demo session or arrange a video call before finalizing the engagement.
For offline tutoring:
Parents and teachers should communicate with each other to ensure the best learning experience for the student. Before assigning an offline teacher, the teacher must provide a demo class to the student. While the final decision will rest with the parents, we will also consider the student’s opinions about the class to ensure a comfortable and effective learning environment.
Teachers should never visit unknown locations alone, especially for first-time visits. Personal safety measures should be taken, including the use of safety applications.
Parents choosing an offline tutor located far from their home must cover transportation costs or arrange pick-and-drop services for the teacher.
Calling is strictly prohibited. If you have any questions or concerns, please communicate via message or email. Voice notes are also acceptable.
If you require extra classes during exams, an additional fee will be charged. This applies especially to sessions scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays.
6. Agreement & Policy Enforcement
Violation of any terms and conditions may lead to a permanent ban of the student/parent from GMT services.
If any suspicious or unacceptable activity is detected, GMT reserves the right to permanently block the user profile without prior notice.
GMT does not guarantee the verification of every teacher and student’s credentials, and users must remain cautious when dealing with unknown individuals.
Teachers working on a monthly salary basis cannot terminate their contract mid-session, except in exceptional cases.
GMT reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
7. Contract Termination & Legal Considerations
GMT reserves the right to withdraw or terminate the agreement with any teacher, student, or parent at any time without prior notice and without providing any explanation.
Any violation of the above terms will lead to strict actions, including service suspension and legal measures if required.
